Why GSFArk Exists

GSFArk began from a simple question:

How can I make better decisions with my money, my time, and my life?

I spent eight years in the Korean insurance industry before leaving to manage my own investments.

Since 2013, I have invested in residential and redevelopment properties in Korea.

In 2018, I relocated to Japan β€” and discovered that the Tokyo real estate market is remarkably well-documented, yet remarkably difficult to navigate for outsiders.

Data exists. But it is fragmented across government databases, written for domestic readers, and rarely translated into actionable insight for foreign investors.

That gap is what GSFArk tries to close.

Today I live in Nihonbashi, Tokyo.

From here, I research and document the realities of:

GSFArk is not a brokerage.

GSFArk is not a sales platform.

GSFArk does not accept compensation in exchange for favorable investment coverage.

Every article is written as an independent research note β€” based on public data, primary sources, and personal observation from someone who lives here and has invested in this market.

My goal is simple:

To help readers make informed decisions through clear analysis, transparent data, and real-world experience.

All investment decisions involve risk.

Nothing published on this site should be considered financial, legal, or tax advice.
